The stock trader’s desk · The Stock Trader’s Course

From the course to the screen

What this course gives you, the routine that turns it into decisions, and the Stocks app screen that answers each question — with three real charts to practise on.

What you get

A complete method

Market health, stage, relative strength and group decide what to trade; four tested setups decide when; stops, exits and sizing decide the result.

Honest numbers

Every rule tested on ten years of the Stocks app’s own NSE data, without lookahead and after charges — including the rules that did not work.

Real charts

Every example is a real stock on a real date: winners, failures, and the ones that looked perfect and still lost.

The app as your desk

Every concept ends at the Stocks app screen that shows it, so the course becomes a routine you run in minutes.

A tested system

The course’s rules assembled into one system and simulated day by day from 2016 to 2026, against NIFTY 500.

A practice path

Learn here, practise on real charts that stop at the signal, scan and paper-trade in the app, journal every trade, then go live small.

The routine

The same questions in the same order. Each has one place to look.

  1. Daily, 5 minutes — is the market healthy?
Breadth — Breadth, regime, advance/decline and new highs. The answer sets how many new positions are allowed (Module 16).
  2. Daily — what changed overnight?
Catalysts — Results, announcements, insider buying and episodic pivots, from the 07:30 IST brief.
  3. Weekly — where is strength building?
Sectors / Industry — Rotation view for sectors, then industries ranked by Strength; click through to the strongest group’s stocks.
  4. Weekly — which stocks qualify?
Setups — Stage 2, RS 80+, near a 52-week high or pulling back to the 50-day. Save the scans.
  5. Before each trade — is the business sound?
Desk — Walk the shortlist with the chart and the financials side by side; prefer growth and quality.
  6. In the trade — manage by alert
Watchlist + alerts — Colour lists for Watch / Ready / Holding; alerts at each trigger and each stop.
